    Refund Policy

    Last updated: January 2026

    1. Overview

Upvote Labs ("we", "us") provides strategic and execution-heavy Reddit campaign services that are custom-built for each client. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and when they are not.

    2. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms apply:

"Services" means any consulting, strategy, research, planning, copywriting, creative development, community engagement, posting, monitoring, reporting, moderation liaison, narrative control, or campaign execution provided by Upvote Labs.

"Work Commencement" occurs at the earliest of:

    • a kickoff call or onboarding session,
    • access being granted to client materials/tools/accounts,
    • research/strategy work beginning,
    • content drafts being produced, or
    • any scheduled or live execution activity.

"Fees" includes retainers, setup fees, deposits, and any prepaid amounts.

    3. Non-Refundable Nature of Service Work

Because our Services are bespoke and labor-based, once Work Commencement has occurred, time and resources have been allocated and cannot be "returned." For that reason, fees for work already performed are non-refundable.

    4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued only in the limited circumstances below:

    A) Before Work Commencement (Cooling-Off Window)

If you cancel before Work Commencement, you may request a refund of amounts paid minus any non-refundable setup/processing fees (if applicable and disclosed in your proposal/invoice).

    B) Non-Delivery of Paid Services

If we fail to deliver a clearly defined portion of paid Services (as described in a proposal, statement of work, or invoice) due solely to our non-performance, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for the undelivered portion.

    C) Material Breach by Upvote Labs

If we materially breach a signed service agreement and do not cure that breach within a reasonable period after written notice (typically 10 business days unless otherwise agreed), you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for Services not yet performed.

    5. No Refunds For These Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Change of mind after Work Commencement
    • Outcome dissatisfaction (e.g., conversions, revenue, sentiment change, engagement levels), unless a specific outcome was explicitly guaranteed in writing.
    • Platform or third-party events outside our control, including:
      • subreddit moderation decisions
      • Reddit policy/enforcement changes
      • algorithm visibility changes
      • account restrictions, removals, bans
      • competitor actions or coordinated reporting
    • Delays caused by the client, including failure to provide timely approvals, materials, access, or feedback
    • Client violations of our terms, platform rules, or applicable law
    • Work that has already been delivered, including strategy documents, research outputs, drafts, published content, campaign execution, and reporting to date

    6. Cancellation & Termination

    A) Client Cancellation

You may cancel ongoing Services by providing written notice. Unless otherwise stated in your agreement:

    • You are responsible for payment of all work performed up to the effective cancellation date, including any committed production/execution time already scheduled.
    • Any prepaid fees for Services not yet performed may be eligible for pro-rata refund, after deducting work completed and any non-cancellable commitments we have already made.

    B) Upvote Labs Termination

We may terminate Services if: you fail to pay, request or direct unlawful activity, repeatedly violate platform rules, or materially breach our agreement. In such cases, fees paid are non-refundable for work completed, and any remaining prepaid amount may be handled pro-rata at our discretion depending on circumstances and obligations already incurred.

    7. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, email support@upvotelabs.com with:

    • your company name and project reference
    • invoice number(s)
    • the reason for the request
    • the specific portion of Services you believe was not delivered

We will review and respond typically within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible, typically within 10-14 business days (timing may vary by bank/payment processor).

    8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback, you agree to contact us and allow us an opportunity to review and resolve the issue. Unresolved chargebacks can result in immediate suspension of Services. If a chargeback is filed for Services already performed, we reserve the right to provide documentation of delivery (e.g., work logs, milestone completion, deliverables) to the payment processor.

    9. Confidentiality During Disputes

All confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations remain in effect during and after any refund request or dispute. We will not publicly disclose client engagement details and expect the same discretion in return.

    10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect is the one posted on our website at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
